Champa Bandhej Modal Silk Saree

Champa - the frangipani, cream-gold and quietly fragrant. A honey-beige Kalamkari-style field blooms in teal, rose and marigold, bordered in deep wine bandhani tied dot by dot. Gold zari runs the edges and gathers into the gharchola pallu.

• Fabric: Modal silk - soft, with a gentle sheen and easy fall
• Craft: Bandhani (bandhej) - hand-tied wine-maroon resist border, each dot tied by hand
• Field: Kalamkari-style multicolour florals on honey-beige
• Border & pallu: Gold-zari border and gharchola check pallu
• Character: Reads neutral from afar, intricate up close; pairs with a maroon or gold blouse
• Size & fit: 5.5m saree with blouse piece. One size; drapes to fit.
• Care: Dry clean only. Store folded in cotton, away from light.
