Collection: Ajrakh Kaftans

Ajrakh is a sixteen-stage block print from Kutch — carved teak blocks, natural indigo and madder, and up to eighteen days for a single length of cloth. We cut it into kaftans.

Each one is printed by hand, so the registration shifts a hair between pieces. That is the proof a person made it.
